age: Unknown, but old enough that his sire doesn't remember when he turned him. Presumably this means he's at least 50+ years old, although he physically appears to be in his mid twenties.

marital status: Married to the cause Single

origin: Arcalia's Gallifrey exists on a timeline where Rassilon sided with the Great Vampire, bringing a millennia of (literal) darkness and civil war upon humankind. This civil war has been going on for centuries, and is currently being fought between the vampire lord Prydon, and the human Magistrix of the True Lords, Borusa.

That said, Arcalia himself was presumably born in Southern Gallifrey, and currently lives among the vampires of Northern Gallifrey after being sired during the civil war. Any memory of his life before being sired has long since been wiped away by the parasitic vampire 'hivemind', but given his prowess in battle and appetite for violence, it's likely Arcalia was once a higher-ranked Gallifreyan soldier. At the time that he enters the Nexus, the transduction barrier shielding his Gallifrey from sunlight has been destroyed, thereby resulting in the genocide of his people at Romana and her associates' hands. Given the death of his people and Gallifrey's now uninhabitable surface, Arcalia has no choice but make the Nexus his temporary home.

parents/elders/guardians: Likely of Southern Gallifreyan origin, and also likely long since killed in the civil war. His effective pseudo parent now is (and was) the vampire who sired him: the Lord Prydon. His memories of his original parents were destroyed in his siring.

siblings: Possible biological siblings while alive, but as a vampire every vampire he or Prydon sires, effectively becomes his "sibling".

friends/allies: His friends and allies include any vampire part of the nest he once inhabited and defended. His sister Cassandra is probably the closest thing he had resembling a friend, but even she didn't have his respect, as he considered her seer abilities useless.

enemies: Humanity. Especially after the genocide of his entire people.

beliefs/religion: He doesn't worship any god in particular, but does believe that strength entitles a person/people to a higher position in life/more benefits.

career/past careers: In life, Arcalia was likely a soldier of some kind. In death, he was Prime Enforcer of the Gallifreyan vampire armies-- and even with the genocide of his people, still considers himself such.

dreams/life goals: On Gallifrey, Arcalia dreamed of bringing his Lord and people glory and control of Gallifrey through obliterating the True Lords and all human life from the face of the planet. In the Nexus, he'll have to come to terms with the genocide of his people and his place without them before making his next move.

hobbies: Various kinds of strenuous sports and hunting (read: killing).

likes: Practical/useful things and straightforwardness. Also: all the usual vampiric accessories. (e.g. Blood, darkness, etc.) He embraces the predatory side of being a vampire, and has a touch of a sadistic streak when it comes to putting enemies down. He likes causing pain-- be it physical, or emotional. He doesn't only like to win: he likes grinding the enemy's face into the dirt, too.

Outside of war, he can be companionable: he appreciates loyalty and a job well done, and looks favorably on people who prove they know their place and who can get the job done.

loves: Glory-- the more blood-soaked, the better. Recognition from his sire, and knowing that he's been useful to either him or their nest. The hunt, and the pure and invigorating chaos of battle. More than anything, he also loves being a vampire. He thinks highly of the fact that he'll never age, has superior strength, and that he'll never sicken, tire, or die.

loathes: On Gallifrey and in general? Humanity. Humans bled his brothers and sisters in the civil war, and also destroyed his entire planet and race. He sees them as 'savages', and continually underestimates their capabilities and cleverness as a result. Ra ci sm. Also, the usual vampire dislikes: the sun, and daytime in general.
